Health and Safety

New Ballet puts the health and safety our students, dancers, faculty and staff first.

Our studios have high ceilings, and each studio has a separate air intake and outtake with MERV 13 filters throughout.

Regardless of vaccination status, school students, staff, and faculty are strongly encouraged to wear well-fitting high-filtration respirator masks (N95, KN95, or KF94) at all times in the New Ballet building and at any New Ballet indoor activity or event. This is especially the case for individuals who are—or who share a household with individuals who are—immunocompromised or in a higher-risk category. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 but are not experiencing symptoms of illness, you may join in-studio classes but you must wear a mask for ten days. Masks should fully cover the nose and mouth. Surgical or medical grade masks are less effective, and cloth masks are significantly less effective.
